Wedding Card Craft can be fun and exciting especially when your recipient is a close friend or relative. In designing a wedding card, there are two tendencies: to follow traditional wedding designs and motifs, or to escape from it. And while there is nothing wrong with defying the norm, and expressing what you feel about the wedding through your design, you must not completely avoid the conventional matrimonial elements. If possible, you should align your wedding card craft to the way the wedding was themed. Is the wedding traditional or informal? Is the couple comical or serious? What is the color motif of the wedding, as suggested by the invitation?
Wedding Card Craft employs a number of common images: bride and groom, doves, diamond rings, ribbons, wedding cake, bouquet of flowers, a wedding car, bells, among others. Predominant colors are silver, white, pink, and royal blue, but as mentioned, it should depend on the color motif of the wedding. The texture of materials must also be controlled: smooth, shiny, and subtle. Silk ribbons, fabric, fancy stones, and thin papers can be used. If the wedding is non-traditional, matching the design to the type of wedding (e.g. garden, beach, mountain wedding, etc.) is a nice direction.
Very crucial in the creation of a wedding card is the message that you will enclose inside. In writing a message, don’t stick to the formulaic greetings. Share a one-liner message which you think contains a very unique and memorable thing you and the couple share.
